Thati Pele explores the moods that move us for Spotify Africa

Thati’s latest piece for Spotify Africa is a visual mixtape set in the middle of Lagos’s creative hustle. The film follows two young creatives navigating the pressure of deadlines, self-doubt, and the push to make something meaningful. What connects them is the music in their headphones.

Shot across the city, the piece moves between handheld intimacy and wide cinematic frames. Thati brings her distinct voice to it all, weaving in sound, movement, and beautifully observed emotional pacing.
